I have been teaching for 12 years! I have teaching experience with 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and STEM K-5. My favorite subject to teach is math!
When you get ready to take a long road trip, you type in your destination to your GPS. You will get several route options. Some routes will be short and direct, other routes might be more scenic but longer, on some you will have to pay tolls, and others might take you to a pit stop. Math problems are the same. There is always more than one path to get an answer. The journey of how we arrive at our destination is just as important as the destination itself.
