TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching Secondary ELA for 11 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a variety of teaching styles in my classroom depending on the unit. Some units are very hands on and activity based. Others are "Socratic" where I act as a facilitator of discussion and activity rather than a lecturer. I believe that my students learn better when they are required to create a product applying a particular concept.
