TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching middle school and high school math in Ohio and Indiana since 1999. I love helping students find success in mathematics...and that finding that "aha!" moment can be a lot of fun!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Adolescents are, by nature, social creatures. So rather than fight against it, I capitalize on that characteristic and incorporate a lot of interactive games in my lessons.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Teaching is an honor. I love being able to nurture growth in my students!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Celina High School (Celina OH) Anderson University (Anderson IN) BA, Honors in math and education. Ball State University (Muncie IN) MA, School Psychology

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Fun fact: I revealed my last pregnancy to my students via a math riddle!
