TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have ten years of experience teaching middle school and high school English (all grades), Creative Writing, Public Speaking, and Computer. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so all of my products are constantly being modified to suit my students' needs. Growing and learning with my students is very important to me, so I rarely use the same worksheet, handout, test, etc from year to year.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I build my classroom around creativity and movement. Understanding that each student is different and that each student interprets or expresses their intelligence differently makes me constantly offer choices. Most of my classes are very writing-based, even public speaking. I'm always trying new things to keep my students engaged and connecting with material.
