TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hi there! I am currently teaching AP Psychology (3 years) and Introduction to Psychology (2 years)! I taught home instruction for AP Psychology (1 year). I have also been a teacher intern for a 5th grade classroom and a paraprofessional in a 3rd grade classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use the Universal Design of Learning approach to address the wide range of skills and abilities in my classroom. I remove the barriers in instruction by providing multiple means of representation, multiple means of engagement, and multiple means of action and expression in all of my lesson plans. Providing all students with multiple pathways for processing information, engaging in learning, and demonstrating knowledge makes the lessons accessible for ALL students. Instead of adapting or retrofitting a lesson to meet the needs of a particular student, I design my lessons to ensure that all student's abilities are taken into account.
