I have taught for 17 years in Texas Public Education...7 in the regular education classroom and 6 as the Fine Arts Teacher. I have lead team building activities, character lessons, and increased moral within my campus. I have also been in charge of the Parent/Communities in Schools committee and helped get over 1,000 parents and community members involved throughout each school year. I have made a difference in about 670 students each year (4,020 children!!!) that I have taught fine arts and character education. I know each one of my student's names and can tell you at least one thing about each one of my students because I value them.
I am a team builder. I structure my classroom with routine and constant practice. Additionally, I keep moral up and each student, teacher, and parent has a rapport with me which I value.
