I spent three years teaching fifth grade and five years teaching third. Three of those years with third graders, I taught a gifted and advanced class. Right now, I am taking a break from the classroom to stay home with my two-year-old little boy, and we are expecting a little girl very soon! During nap time, I'm blogging and creating all the things I always wanted to have in my classroom but never had time to make! Visit my blog at: http://usingmyteachervoice.wordpress.com
In the classroom, I like to go, go, go. I was the student who got bored staring too long at the textbook, and as a teacher I am the same way. My teaching style is student centered, interesting, fun...more than a worksheet!
"Best Teacher" award hand-drawn by students. Does that count as award :)
