By Mr Wren's Social Studies For almost two decades I have had the privilege of teaching a variety of social studies courses at the high school level. These have included U.S History, World History, AP World History, Advanced World Geography, World Geography, Dual Credit Western Civilization, US Government, Economics, and even GED classes
I use a variety of teaching methods based on what I believe to be best for each class. I create PowerPoint presentations loaded with pictures for added visual interest. I use quizzes to reinforce key topics and worksheets to introduce new skills and topics. I also include traditional lectures when needed and have created a variety of group activities that can be used throughout the year.

I have graded the AP World History exam essay questions for over a decade For 3 years I worked on the Mississippi U.S. History Subject Area Test Question Review Committee and I spent 1 year working on the Mississippi Subject Area Test Bias Review Committee. I have taught everything from GED classes to Dual Credit classes and AP classes.
