TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently, I am working as a full-time tutor helping students who are having trouble passing the writing portion of Texas' new standardized test. Prior to this, I was working as a sub while I finished up my post bac certification and worked on my master's degree.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like a lot of interactive exercises that lead to class discussions. I figure if I can get them expressing their ideas and views verbally, it will make it a lot easier for them to get them down on paper. I think it also helps to have the interaction rather than day after day of straight lecturing and worksheets.
