From a young age I excelled in Mathematics and engineering. My father, and his before him, were both Engineers. After finishing high school Mathematics at age 16, I spent my last two years of high school teaching Mathematics at a neighboring private high school. (I've always been a teacher!) I am now a homeschooling mother - who received her B.S. Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1998. Teaching is my passion - from Zumba to Algebra... In 2000-2002 I was an instructor for comprehensive review programs - "3 week intensives" (onsite US Navy bases) for enlisted personnel. My engineering articles in Highlights Magazine for Children can be seen in the "Science Corner" section. As for Mathematics instruction I have College teaching experience (adjunct professor) in the following subjects: Remedial Algebra Elementary Algebra Intermediate Algebra College Algebra College Mathematics for Technology Mathematical Ideas
Quirky, creative, off-the-wall.
My engineering articles in Highlights Magazine for Children can be seen in the "Science Corner" section. I have been writing engineering articles for several years.
