TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in education for 15 years and love being an educator! I have taught 3rd- 8th grades (except 5th) and have spent most of that time serving as a middle school science teacher. I am currently teaching 8th grade science and 6th grade engineering.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My goal as an educator is to make learning simple and fun while making sure every lesson is purposeful and tied to a standard. I do this by using standards based grading combined with project based learning and lots of hands-on investigations. I also enjoy setting clear and high expectations for my students and building positive relationships with them.
