I taught CTE courses for 13+ years in both a high school and middle school setting. I taught both business and family and consumer science courses. I also write and publish curriculum and sewing patterns. I have successfully sold for over 20 years. I also make myself very available to help anyone with any questions. I am here to help!

I love to teach with a hands-on style. I try to accommodate those who learn with any learning preference: auditory, visual, and tactile. I incorporate all three in each and every lesson. I like to obtain feedback from my students on how effective the lesson was so I can improve it. I am a very empathetic person and I listen to my students.

I received a $5000 scholarship for my MAT program. I received a certificate for a high score on my Praxis II (subject area). I have certifications in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. My teaching resources reflect this as well.

I have a Bachelors of Science in General Business, a second Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education, and a Master of Arts in Teaching majoring in Career & Technical Education.

I live near the same area I grew up in where I have raised 3 children who are now successful adults. I also have 2 wonderful grandsons that I am very proud of! I am a continuous learner! I love to learn new things!
