In December 2020, I graduated college with a Double Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology (and a minor in Special Education- Inclusive Practices). I completed my student teaching semester (in the midst of a global pandemic) in a Title One Fifth Grade classroom. I was able to learn from four other teachers and taught a total of 87 fifth graders remotely and in person (hybrid). Upon completing student teaching, I started applying for all of the jobs I possibly could! Long term substitutes, paraprofessionals, day substitutes, and more. In January of 2021, I landed my first teaching job after just my second interview! From January to late February, I served as a long term substitute teacher in third grade. Immediately following that, I began teaching first grade again as a long term substitute for maternity leave. This is when I started really putting together resources and creating my own to sell here! For the 2021-2022 year, I was hired as a fourth grade teacher in an amazing school for my first year of teaching. I have since remained in the same school and in fourth grade! I love creating resources that I use in my own classroom and then sharing them with all of you! These resources are usually tried and true tested out and used in my own lessons and resources.
