Between teaching middle school, years of community theater, and working on over 30 television shows, commercials, and movies, I have a well-rounded skill set including student engagement and creaIve lesson planning. I believe that each student benefits from an arts educaiton because it allows students the opportunity to express themselves, to understand one another, and to work together as a team.

The skills I have learned from teaching are priceless. I have learned to lead as if lives depend on it because someImes it does. Teaching requires creaIvity that captures the hearts and minds of the hardest audience to reach, children. It also has insIlled in me a compassion for the underprivileged beyond society's expectaIons. Most importantly, I have a true understanding of the capability that our brilliantly diverse community can provide through art because of my experiences within schools.
