I am a fairly new teacher but have taught at two different high schools, one a large high school and currently I am teaching at a small charter school.

My teaching style is a mixture between direct instruction and student-centered teaching in that as I do my lessons it is as interactive as possible for the students to learn and try the material for themselves.

I was awarded student teacher of the year during my credential program. I graduated with high honors from my bachelor degree and credential program.

I graduated high school in the top of my class from a really large high school. After that I decided to move to a smaller college and chose Sonoma State University. I majored in math with an emphasis in secondary education and got my minor in statistics. Then I completed the credential program. I am currently finishing my masters in Curriculum and Instruction.

Math has always been one of my favorite subjects and my personal goal is to make it understandable and accessible for everyone.
