Over the past 14 years I have taught 6th-12th grade English in both the U.S. and abroad. My commitment is to serving students in hard to staff, high needs schools. A bulk of my teaching experience has been with English Learners, first LTELs (longterm English Learners) and now more recently, newcomers.
I use project-based learning to integrate the four domains of language: reading, writing, listening, and speaking with real world soft skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking, and flexibility.
