TEACHING EXPERIENCE

5 and a half years of college... Three years at a community college studying clarinet, voice, piano, oboe...took chorus, chamber choir, orchestra, music composition, filmscoring, theory, and private lessons. Primary: clarinet. Secondary: voice. My small vocal ensemble performed in Russia as "musical ambassadors" in 2008. 2.5 years at the University of South Florida studying music education with a focus on instrumental education. Studied privately on: voice, clarinet, oboe, piano, violin. (Also play recorder, some guitar, tinwhistle, sax, and flute.) Performed with: bands, choruses, orchestras, small vocal ensemble, wind trio/duet, Andrews Sisters trio, solo performances on clarinet, piano, voice. Substituted in music classes for two years. Coached students in public schools for a year. Taught orchestra and piano for 6 months at a magnet school after their teacher had to suddenly leave. Taught at my previous position for two years, and subbed long-term there the year prior. Last taught: guitar, advanced chorus, beginning chorus, advanced orchestra, beginning orchestra, and "musical theatre". Currently teaching private music lessons.
