TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I teach K-8th grade music, but I have a passion for all of the arts. I have been teaching music for over 20 years! I also have my own home studio where I give music lessons, and record my own music. As a singer/songwriter I have my music on all streaming platforms!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am not your typical music teacher. I do firmly believe we have to capture the musical hearts of children at a very young age to build that foundation. I believe having fun, laughing, and dancing is essential to reach the younger musicians. As they get older, the discipline of practicing, listening, and accuracy is critical in building the musical skills. Teaching concert etiquette at a very young age is important as they will carry this on as they get older and decide to join choir and band. Make music fun!
