I have been teaching for about 10 years now. I am a native French teacher and I have taught in Europe but also in the Middle East. I can teach from primary to secondary level. I also specialize in examinations such as (i)GCSE and AS, A Level. I am now teaching online and find it very interesting. I teach Year 7 to Y12 with the National Curriculum but I also teach students from the Middle East online with the American Curriculum.
I like to use a book as a guidance in their learning. So I often take exercises from specialised book and adapt them to my classes. I also use a lot of games, especially for speaking as the students then don't get embarrassed to talk. It is a nice way to end the lesson or to develop vocabulary from a topic. I am used to record myself and then provide the students with the recording with the vocabulary we are studying. Grammar is also very important and I try to make it as simple as it can be, as students often have a problem with it. It is either too complicated or too boring for them!
