When we moved to Denmark with 3 young kids, we enrolled them in regular Danish school, but had to do a lot of homeschooling to keep them caught up with what that would be learning in the US. It was during this time that I found TPT and began contributing my digital graphic designs to the site. After 3 years, we moved back to the US and I no longer do any regular homeschooling, however, I do all that I can to teach my kids different things at home.

Sometimes I'm so saddened that my kids spend all day long just sitting in a classroom. Their schooling in Denmark was very hands-on with lots of field trips and time outdoors. I love to see my children learning through their environment and through play. I still spend a lot of time with my kids doing enrichment activities, such as visiting local museums and taking opportunities to teach whenever I can.

I think my kids would give me the Mom of the Year Award, at least sometimes!

I graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Parks and Recreation and a Minor in Business Management. After the birth of my children, I found that I wanted to stay home with them. I began learning how to do computer graphics and have found in that, something that I love!

I am a stay-at-home Mom, where I have been lucky enough to work on starting my own business with computer graphics. This gives me time to be with my children and to help them with their education.
