Pam Moeai

I have been in the education field for over 30 years! I taught 4th grade for one year before finding my niche in 6th Grade. I absolutely loved being an upper elementary classroom teacher for 23 years. After leaving the classroom for a new adventure, I became a School Technology Specialist / Instructional Coach where I had many opportunities to work with students and teachers in all grades (K-12). I also had the opportunity to work with the Adult Basic Education Program as a Math Fundamentals teacher for students trying to obtain their GED or High School Diploma. During this time, I also wrote the Math and Language Fundamentals course curricula used for the Adult Ed Program. Currently, I am an Educational Technology Specialist Team Leader. I look forward to the future and all of what life will bring!

Inquiry-based teaching with a heavy focus on critical and creative thinking. Google Drive is also infused throughout my teaching resources and products. I love engaging students in activities that make them think more deeply. I use many critical and creative thinking activities. I was one of the first groups of teachers in Utah to be trained in the eMINTS program. This philosophy is based upon Inquiry-based Learning, High-quality Lesson Design, and Classroom Community all powered and supported by technology.

I have received the Coca-Cola Always Teaching Award and was honored to be the Elementary Social Studies Teacher of the Year for the State of Utah.

I received an Elementary Teaching Degree from Brigham Young University, and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

I am in my 4th year of "TpT'ing" and have loved every minute of the adventure. I am excited to be part of such a creative and hard-working group of people. I am the proud mother of two exceptional young men. Each are married to wonderful women who are like the daughters I never had. I'm also known as "Grammy Pammy" and am absolutely in love with my granddaughter, Iris... and my miracle twins, Max and Kai! Being a grandparent is the ultimate joy!
