TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am certified science and language arts teacher in the state of Arizona. I taught for several years in public schools, and now I teach online classes via Outschool.com. I also have my own business, Portable Planetarium Presentations, in which I take an inflatable planetarium around town to schools and libraries, and teach children about the stars and constellations. I have been teaching children at a professional level for 11 years (as of 2018).

My focus is to find topics that kids already like (such as Pokemon, Harry Potter, and Star Wars) and create lesson plans that will meet educational goals while simultaneously tapping into their pre-existing interest.
