TEACHING EXPERIENCE

For the past 35 years, I have devoted my time and heart to educating students in a Title I school. I have taught 1st through 5th grade and have extensive experience as an Instructional Coach that worked with PK through 5th grade teachers to provide professional development, improve instructional practices and increase student achievement.

MY TEACHING STYLE

It is important to me to create a positive, caring and nurturing classroom environment where student centered learning is the focus. I believe that hands-on, activity based, engaging work provides students with the building blocks to reach high levels of achievement. Building relationships, remaining enthusiastic and keeping the positive energy going is my goal each day.
