TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a four-year teacher of middle grades social studies and special education. I have worked with 6th, 7th and 8th graders on varying learning levels.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a diverse teacher. I love project-based learning, hands-on, visual, and teaching critical thinking skills. I aim to prepare students to be able to work in teams as well as individually. I am a fan of Ron Clark styled teaching. I am creative and fun!

I was in a developing Future Teachers program throughout high school. I have a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and Business. I switched careers 3 years ago and took the alternate teacher certification program. I am certified in special education and middle grades social studies, language arts, science and math.
