TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I received a BA in music education from McMurry University, and have been teaching music to Pre-k through 5th graders for five years in the Dallas Independent School District to Title I, at-risk students. I am a music teacher who loves making music relevant and fun for all students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy presenting difficult concepts in simple, uncomplicated ways. I use a mixture of methods including, but not limited to- Kodaly, Orff, and Music as a Second Language- all with a heavy emphasis on technology. I also believe in using as little paper as possible! #savethetrees
