TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 4th grade for 6 years, along with a half year in 5th grade in a Title I schools in Florida and Virginia.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I focus on building relationships with each of my students. I believe that when I build that relationship, a trust is formed and teaching/learning can begin. I am currently in a "I do", "We Do" "You do" teaching format in my math block, which is working in my classroom this year. I base my small group instruction from their self reflection & self rating system I have in place in the classroom. This allows me to assist those that truly need it during the lessons.
