TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 21 years in Northern Ireland. I am presently teaching in the foundation stage Monday-Wednesday and in a special needs unit every Friday and I love it! I am also a part time author and I have written several books. I love putting my latest picture books or MiddleGrade books on TPT as PDF files and making teacher resources for my books. I am also a free-lance editor on Fiverr. I am a planner and I love bullet journals. I enjoy Art and you will always see me with a pen in my hand.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love teaching through Play and Social Stories. Play based learning is fabulous and I always promote play in my teaching. If a child has fun and learns then I will meet my targets.Social Stories help children to understand the world they live in. I use Social Stories within my classroom on a daily life. It makes my classroom a lovely place.
