I am a middle school science teacher at an urban school district in Massachusetts. I also have experience in outdoor, garden, and makerspace settings, as well as teaching English abroad.
My priority is to create classroom materials that align with UDL (Universal Design for Learning) principles, so that it is accessible to a wide variety of learners. This is why I often set my grade levels from upper elementary to high school - the resources can be scaffolded or extended across many academic levels!
UC Math and Science Teaching Marine Researcher Program, STEM Teacher and Researcher (STAR) Program, Robert Noyce Teacher Scholar Program
I have my undergraduate degree in Geology and Education from University of California, Davis and a Masters of Arts in Teaching for Science Education from Boston University.
I love nature, and try to create resources that inspire students to feel inspired by the natural world. I am a lifelong doodler and am pumped to bring my clip art designs into my TpT products.
