TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 2nd grade for 10 years! 2nd graders are the BEST! They still love being silly, but are SO capable! I taught at a sweet, little school in Knoxville, TN. I was named “Teacher of the Year” in 2018. During Covid, sad times, I homeschooled at kinder and 1st grader. Therefore, most of my resources are geared for K-2. I currently serve as an instructional coach in Knox County. This is my third year of coaching and although I often miss the classroom, I get to reach so many more kiddos in this role! I love working with and supporting teachers! I love watching them shine and grow students!

MY TEACHING STYLE

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher. There is truly no better job than one that greets you at your door each morning with hugs and smiling faces. Teaching is truly my passion and I love to make the learning COME ALIVE! I love creating super engaging lessons that meet the students where they're at so I can help every learner reach their full potential. :) I LOVE the thrill of seeing children learn!
