My clinical background is primarily focused on working with children with autism and special educational needs. For almost 20 years, I have been working in this field, helping children to overcome their unique challenges and reach their full potential. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each child. In 2011, I founded Sunnyside Children's Clinic, where I currently serve as the director. As the founding director, I have been instrumental in building a team of highly trained professionals who are dedicated to providing the best possible care to our clients. At Sunnyside Children's Clinic, we take a holistic approach to treatment, focusing not just on the child's behavioral needs, but also on their social, emotional, and educational needs. One of the most rewarding aspects of my clinical background has been seeing the progress that children make over time. It is truly gratifying to witness the transformation that occurs when a child is given the right support and guidance. I am proud to have played a part in helping so many children and families achieve their goals, and I look forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of others.
As a board certified behavior analyst, my teaching style is centered around making learning enjoyable and engaging for my clients, especially children with autism and special educational needs. I firmly believe that having fun is the best way to learn, and I incorporate interactive and visually stimulating tools to make the learning experience more exciting and effective. My teaching style is grounded in research and evidence-based practices. I prioritize staying up-to-date with the latest research in the field of autism and behavior analysis and incorporate those findings into my teaching strategies. I strive to make learning a positive experience for everyone I work with, and I believe that my approach helps to build a strong foundation for continued growth and success.
