TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been playing cello in orchestras for over 20 years, have taught private lessons for 12 years, and have been teaching orchestra for 7 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Start the year with an intense focus on procedures. Set your rehearsals up so that students run as much as possible - on sub days, they should be able to run their own class! Hold high expectations for rehearsal etiquette and good playing technique - but do so through games and little tricks that keep their minds going!
