I am a Title 1 teacher grades 1st - 5th concentrating in math instruction.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I began teaching the "upper grades" of elementary school 2011-2012 school year after teaching younger students for 16 years. I am the Title 1 teacher focusing on math instruction for grades 3-5. I continue to teach with educational games, flexible grouping and cooperative learning activities to keep my student's interest high.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

My greatest honor is that I get to do what I love! Teaching is my hobby. I was a Georgia Pre-K Mentor teacher in 2008-2009 and Teacher of the Year for the 2012-2013 school year.

I am a mother of 3 sons. My oldest son is a geologist, my middle son is a computer technician and youngest son is in high school. My husband is retired from the army. I have been making games and activities since I have been teaching. My middle son just recently taught me how to create digital files for games and activities and I'm hooked!
