ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Sustainability expert and educator Jackie Schemenauer empowers schools to educate for sustainability by integrating sustainability concepts and practices into the curriculum, school culture and campus operations. Jackie holds a MEd in sustainability and school leadership, and has extensive experience teaching and leading in International Baccalaureate World schools around the globe. She is an award winning school sustainability coordinator, experienced workshop leader and instructional coach. Jackie’s areas of expertise include: Educating for Sustainability (EfS), Garden and Nature Based Learning, Systems Thinking, Whole School Transformation and Change Methodology, Inquiry and Experiential Learning, Zero Waste Design, Circular Economy in STEAM, and Sustainable Campus Operations.
