By Teachers Two Hi! Jackie and Carla here... We are two passionate teachers who met whilst studying at university and then went on to teach at the same school, on the same grade level! Whoop! Between the two of us we have experience teaching all Primary grade levels, with the majority of our experience being in the Early Years (Prep-2). I (Carla) have been lucky enough to travel overseas and experience teaching in a volunteer capacity, in schools and orphanages in Thailand, Myanmar and India. These experiences, whilst fleeting, have impacted the way that I view education and I can't wait to get back there some day!
We both pride ourselves on our creativity in the classroom. We love to let kids explore and discover, with us as a guide - sparking their enthusiasm and interest along the way. We aren't adverse to changing the plan when needed. Seek to find new and innovative ways of doing things. Are a bit obsessed with colour coordination and organisation and LOVE to make up songs about, well, anything!
