TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have a job that I love! In my 27 years as an educator, I've taught Kinder, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. However, most of my teaching experience has been in first grade. First grade definitely has a special place in my teacher heart!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to make learning fun, engaging and hands-on. I provide lots of scaffolding for my students and differentiate whenever possible. My students and I thrive with my well thought out classroom management, routines, structure, and transitions. I am firm but organized, fun and a little wacky (just like my first graders)!

I love writing and I think it shows! I have had the honor of being asked to present Writer's Workshop and Writing training to my peers and to different schools in every school/district where I have worked. I have had the honor of being featured in the TPT newsletter!

I am married to a wonderful, loving, and very understanding husband!I I have two teenagers that I love more than anything, and two fur babies which I adore. I enjoy to meditating and walking my dogs on my free time. I also love plants! Developing resources on TPT feeds my creative side. It is also my passion. Time just flies when I create!
