TEACHING EXPERIENCE

For the past four years, I have worked as a curriculum specialist for a Career Tech School supporting educators in designing quality instructional materials. I have a passion for working with educators to improve student learning, develop effective teaching practices, and increase the understanding of standard-based teaching. In addition to my curriculum experience, I have 10 years of classroom experience which has allowed me the opportunity to establish a solid framework of quality instructional materials.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom was inviting and served as an incubator for creativity, collaboration, and personal growth. Students were engaged in the learning through differentiation, technology and a variety of instructional strategies. I challenged students to master the learning objectives and apply their knowledge utilizing project based learning.
