TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 5th grade for four years and worked as a Reading Interventionist for grades K-4 with small groups. Next year I will begin a new adventure in 4th grade!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am not a "quiet" teacher by any means and thankfully my kiddos love me that way! We are always moving around and working together to make connections and come up with new ways of thinking. I am a huge believer in trying to teach to every child's style of learning (especially when they don't even realize that they have one). You can find anything from music, to games, to videos, to books, to costumes, to virtual field trips and so much more going on in my classroom. I want my students to be passionate about learning and to see that they can find new knowledge anywhere!
