TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 2016! I have taught all subjects in 2nd, 5th, and 6th with most of my years in the classroom being 5th/6th. My two favorite subjects to teach are math and science but ELA has found a way into my heart! I am currently the STEM instructor for 2nd-8th graders and I assist them with their core subjects as needed.

MY TEACHING STYLE

At Modern Minds Learning, we focus our enrichment classroom learning around STEM and conservation efforts. My teaching style includes mostly project based learning and experiential learning. Over the years I have discovered that most students excel when they are fully immersed in a topic, book, skill, etc. and we should be relating our content delivery to match the workforce our students will enter.
