I have 16+ years of experience in education from teaching to leadership opportunities. I have taught students with all capabilities. I am currently a 5th grade math, science, and social studies teacher in Georgia.
I like hands-on fun that invites students to actively engage in the learning process. I encourage critical thinking and self-assessing. I REALLY enjoy using the workshop model in my classroom.
Teacher of the Year, 2014-2015 School Year.
I have a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and a master's degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in reading and literacy. I also have my specialist degree in ECE and a gifted endorsement. I am currently working on my reading endorsement. I truly am a life-long learner. I enjoy going to school almost as much as I enjoy teaching!
I am a fifth grade ELA teacher, a mom, wife, and a daughter of the most high God. I love everything about my life and am humbly blessed by the gracious mercy of my heavenly father. I am thankful for the blessing of being able to create products for other teachers to use in their classroom. Words can not express my gratitude for each and every person who purchases products and leaves helpful reviews and comments. God has blessed me with wonderful talents that I will be forever grateful for. Teachers pay Teachers is such a blessing to myself, my family, and my career. Thank you so much to each and every person!
