Texas Criminal Justice Curriculum

I have taught for a decade in Texas including chemistry, PreAP Chemistry, IPC, Forensic Science and now run the criminal justice program at our CTE center. I have also been on patrol for several years and investigate cases ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree felonies. Our police department is small so we perform all jobs- from investigating vehicle accidents to being the crime scene tech for death investigations. I have almost 5,000 hours of training in law enforcement and hold an Advanced Peace Officer License through TCOLE.

I work as a full-time teacher for the criminal justice program at our CTE center in Wichita Falls, TX. In addition, I work part-time as a patrol officer for multiple agencies and also investigate cases within the scope of my job duties. All of my curriculum is based off of TCOLE standards to be a licensed peace officer in Texas and is based on Texas state law.
