I have been teaching for five years now after leaving my career as an interior designer.
I believe that the most successful education is one that educates the whole-child. I have been described as a purposeful teacher who strives to make learning accessible to all by truly getting to know each one of my students as individuals. My native curiosity about each child and the time I take to discover more about how they construct meaning drives my instruction. I plan independent practice with differentiation for ability and interest, leading me to strategically design activities and projects that engage all learners and create a passion for learning.
None yet, but with my love of baseball my dream is to be recognized for my teaching by the favorite team, the San Francisco Giants!
