TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching middle school for 15 years now and have worked on the teams that helped create the district pacing guides and assessments. I have taught ELA, Drama, Choir, Journalism, Creative Writing, and Basic Computer skills. I consider it a specialty of mine to design worksheets, quizzes, and tests that really make kids think.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Attracting and holding my students' attention is what is most important to me. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in marketing, and I feel that I "package" my teaching in such a way that it is appealing to teens and tweens.
