By The Counselor Code My name is Tiffany Hawley and I am the brains behind The Counselor Code. I am a former Elementary School Counselor turned Stay-At-Home-Mom.
During my time as a counselor I learned that I love creating my own resources to use when working with students. My first year I remember having in my mind the exact thing I needed for either a lesson, small group, individual, behavior, bulletin boards, etc. and would have a hard time finding it. This is when I decided to create my own and share my resources with the world in order to help other school counselors and educators!

I received my undergraduate degree in Family & Consumer Science with a focus of Child Development and Family Relations from The Historically Black North Carolina Central University. I also obtained dual Master’s in School Counseling & Career Counseling from North Carolina Central University.
