TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 13th year teaching at West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, NC. I enjoy working with students of all levels in school because of the various challenges associated with them. Currently Teaching: AP United States History, and World Geography & International Relations.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Being asked to teach Seminar World History in my second year of teaching. Really showed me that my administrators believed in me.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Attended State University of New York at Oswego (SUNY Oswego). Received my Bachelor's in History (2002). Received my Masters in Education (2007). Attended G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton, NY and graduated in 1998.

Enjoy making materials for class and thought I would share some of my creations. I spent countless hours designing my powerpoint so that they look professional and are filled with graphics that students can make a connection to. I enjoy watching movies and staying up to date on pop-culture.
