The Learning Café

I have experience teaching the following grade levels: -3rd -5th -6th -7th (ELA) -9th -10th -ESL/ELL Teacher (7th-12th) I also have experience as a high school librarian, reading interventionist, and I am now currently an EdTech/Instructional Coach (6-12)!

Make learning fun with interactive games and activities that get students thinking vs. memorizing! I am all about student-led learning and ownership. However, as teachers, we must get our students to that point first! Many of the resources you see listed will reflect a "student-led" learning classroom, mixed with guided teacher practice. My classroom resources are based on discussion and metacognition ("thinking about our thinking" as I call it in the classroom!). Specialties include: -Vocabulary Instruction -Thinking Routines -Effective Communication Tools -Language Support (ELL)
