Dream Big, Do Big, Be Big ~ and Find the Hero in You! Passionate teacher and author turning my students' potential into reality one lesson at a time. Former businessman and current veteran teacher of multiple grades (2nd through 12th). I presently teach 2nd grade at Cypress Park Elementary in Orlando, Florida and am excited at seeing 2+ years of learning gains happening year-after-year! I love to travel and then come back home with big ideas on how to make my lessons not only meaningful but fun, exciting and adventurous. My students often achieve their highest growth ever on the state tests and then continue to excel in higher-level classes in middle and high school. More importantly, they do this because they have been taught how to think versus memorize :-) Inspired by a trip to Italy where I saw the gigantic wall mural of Raphael's School of Athens in the Vatican, I have developed a series of lessons called The School of Athens ~ Mind Adventures.
