TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Twenty-one years teaching experience - all middle school levels 6-8. Taught all subjects - English Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science, Physical Education, and Sign Language. My areas of interest are language arts skills and history.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a facilitator of learning, I encourage students to acquire social skills through collaboration as well as focus on improving their individual learning skills. By teaching students strategies for learning, they can apply it to other situations in their lives. I believe all students can succeed if they are encouraged to give diligent effort.
