TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have worked in education for 20 years. My experience includes teaching "moms and babies" groups and pre-school, junior, and senior school classes. I have also been part of a mentorship programme that provides extra guidance to people training to become teachers. I have co-authored two English textbooks, started my own business, and created a "Catch-up" Programme for an NPO that assists learners developmentally behind in their milestones. These days, I am working from home on my own business, Treasures for Thematic Teaching. I am enjoying the flexibility of being more available for my sons while at the same time being involved in a career that I am passionate about.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy new and creative ways of teaching content and skills to my students. Some learn differently, and I enjoy finding methods that benefit all I teach. I LOVE working with themes and find this enhances cross-curricular teaching in my classroom.
