TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over 25 years of experience combined from working as a Speech-Language Pathologist and as a Homeschool Mom. I've worked with Students with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties, Students with Learning Difficulties, General Education, At-Risk / Struggling Learners. My husband and I have 3 bio kids and 3 adopted (from foster care) kids; all of whom have had ADHD and unique learning needs.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to teach multi-age and multi-ability kids as a group with unit studies and hands-on activities.

I earned my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association in 1996. I've worked on the board of my local homeschool co-op for 7 years and led as chairman of the board for 2 in addition to leading a student council group for homeschooled high schoolers.
