TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 15 years. I began my teaching career in 4th grade where I taught for two years. I looped up to 5th grade with my class and taught for one year. After that group of children left I decided to move to 1st grade! I enjoyed teaching in 1st grade for 6 years. From 1st grade I moved to 2nd grade which I presently still teach.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I really believe that children need to LOVE being in school. It is my hope that the kids in my classroom enjoy the activities that I come up with for not only teaching them, but to engage thier attentions and love for learning as well. I try to do this by incorporating art, crafts, music, dancing, movement, and literature that children enjoy into every day!
